Empowering The World
With A Revolutionary Powder
Our Products

Our amazing powder is helping improve lives … from hospitals to work sites to homes.

It’s improving the lives of people on blood thinners.  Customers tell us that one of the most irritating things about being on
blood thinners is the nuisance bleeding that occurs with the slightest bump, scratch or cut.  Our powder solves that problem in
seconds and allows people the freedom to control it and get back to their lives immediately . . . wherever they are!

It’s improving the lives of patients and the doctors and nurses that serve them.  In the emergency room, our products easily
control nosebleeds or other non-suturable wounds.  For vascular access teams, the powder seals access sites and helps
protect the sites from infection.  The seal created by the powder has the unique quality of not allowing blood OUT of the wound
or bacteria IN to the wound! This has also allowed for fewer dressing changes, saving valuable nursing time and expensive
wound dressing materials.

It’s improving the lives of workers and safety professionals in the workplace.  Our Occupational First Aid users tout the benefits
of the powder not just because it stops bleeding but because it saves them time and money by reducing down-time and
helping reduce OSHA-reportable events.  It is a must-have for all first aid kits!

The powder is great for all ages, even kids!

What is the Powder and how does it work?

The short version:

Powder + Pressure = Instant Scab

A further explanation:

WoundSeal/BioSeal powder is composed of a hydrophilic, or water-loving, polymer and potassium ferrate.  When the powder
is poured onto a bleeding wound, the hydrophilic polymer instantly dehydrates the blood by absorbing only the plasma or
liquid portion of the blood stacking the blood solids beneath the powder.  Simultaneously the potassium ferrate
dissolves, releasing iron that agglomerates (binds together) the blood solids to create an occlusive seal.

As manual pressure is applied to the powder, the seal is pushed into contact with the wound.  The natural glue-like
nature of drying blood adheres the seal to the wound and surrounding skin.  The occlusive seal, that has formed in
seconds, stops further bleeding or oozing.  Blood solids continue to stack beneath the seal, strengthening it.  The
natural clotting process proceeds below the seal.
