About Biolife

Biolife, L.L.C. was founded in 1999 by Jim Reding, Charlie Entenmann, John “Alf” Thompson and James Patterson, Ph.D. to produce potassium salt based products. The first product, a powder which stops external bleeding, was developed in late 1999. Since then, Biolife, L.L.C. has taken the product from conception to commercialization, assembled a world class management team, and developed manufacturing capability to support the product’s rapid growth.

QR Powder stops bleeding instantly and is quickly becoming the new standard for bleeding control. QR Powder is currently manufactured by Biolife, L.L.C in Sarasota, Florida and is sold to four primary markets: Consumer-Retail, Healthcare providers, Occupational workplaces, and Sports.
