Biolife LLC is pleased to announce that BIOSEAL ADVANCED Powder is available for sale beginning February 9, 2009.
BIOSEAL ADVANCED by PRO QR is a non-prescription topical powder that stops external bleeding from diagnostic and
interventional arterial procedures by sealing off the access site and providing a microbial barrier over the site upon
sheath removal. The powder’s ingredients are a hydrophilic polymer and potassium iron oxyacid salt.
BIOSEAL ADVANCED Powder is a patented technology that, when placed on a vascular access site and combined with
manual pressure to the site, quickly stops the flow of blood and creates a seal over the site. This “BIOSEAL” blocks the
flow of blood out of the wound and helps prevent microbes from coming in to the wound. BIOSEAL ADVANCED Powder
works well for “problem bleeders” because it works independently of the blood’s natural clotting cascade.
BIOSEAL ADVANCED powder helps reduce hold times (thus increasing patient comfort) and provides a protective seal
